JOSEPHINE NAGY - apprentice as forwarding agent-

In training and on the way to a forwarding agent at REINERT Logistics

In August 2016, I began my apprenticeship as a freight forwarder at REINERT LOGISTICS. During this time I have already met several departments, such as financial accounting, billing, pallet and claims department. The diversity of the profession of forwarding agent is one of the big plus points in my job. The extensive range of tasks offers me daily new challenges.

Even as an apprentice, REINERT LOGISTICS recognizes you as a full-fledged worker. The trust that my colleagues put in me means a lot to me. I can work independently and contribute ideas; but if you have any questions, be very open with my colleagues. Of course we also laugh together. And if there is criticism, that is always understandable and constructive. It is also stressful now and then. Then it’s time to keep a cool head.

As a young talent one is integrated and promoted here. By switching between different departments, I can learn a lot. With a bit of luck, you may even wish to have a department when you take over. In addition, we are heavily involved as apprentices – for example in the preparation of training fairs or our trainee WELCOMEDAYs. But even a day trip with one of our REINERT PILOTS is part of the training to understand what our drivers do every day. I think it’s great that my employer emphasizes the issue of employee safety and health.

For me, each of our blue trucks means a bit of home on the road. That makes me very proud to be part of the REINERT LOGISTICS team.
